I’m not dying but would feel less afraid if assisted dying was an option in the uk. Especially with Doctors in the family they would currently be put in an impossible position. I love my life but want my death to be my decision.

I am a Nurse of 40+ yrs and whole heartedly support Assisted Dying. It’s cruel in England the way we let some of our patients have long drawn out distressing passings. Not only Distressing for the patients and friends. But the staff caring for them too.

I think it’s a fantastic idea that people should have the right to decide whether to end their lives due to intolerable suffering and have spoken in depth with my MHK about it. I completely support ‘My Death My Decision campaign’.The symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. are appearing. At 77 years I accept old age and eventual death, but not the cruel dying aspect. I wish you success for all of us.

I have Huntingdons disease and I want to at least have the option of assisted dying so I can get it in place before I become too ill.

Siffering should not be prolonged when doctors decide that illness is terminal.
